  • Prom and Beyond

The bad part about Xanga is that I haven't used it in quite a long time now. Already more than a month and week together.

So what I've seen already all over my Facebook, Prom just started 2 weeks ago in Tracy and a week ago in Stockton. Here, it's going to be this Saturday!! The problem is that I probably won't go because of my Econ class lowering my grade to an F plus we have this thing called "Senior Obligations" where I need to pay stuff that I haven't paid yet which is only my Tux from Choir, but I'm returning that tomorrow, so I won't have any. However, I haven't checked on my disciplinary issues, so maybe that would have been the prevention of Prom for me.

Even if I did go to Prom, I'm not prepared. Since I been to the Philippines for a while, I have forgotten everything about Prom. All I'm wearing is probably a suit and slacks, just like if I'm going to a formal party or something. The other sad part is I'm probably heading over there by myself because I was too late on asking someone out and also joining with my friends.

I heard from one of my friends that Choir Ball in Tracy is coming at May 7 or 14 (I forgot). Not sure if I'm going to come, depending on my parents, but if anyone in Tracy invites me there, I'll try my best to come!! Wouldn't miss it.

Grad Night at Disneyland is at the 27th of May, so I'm pretty excited that I'm going to go (although depending still). Unfortunately, I was hoping Tracy High had the same date, but they start at Tuesday while we start at Thursday, but I have other high schools, I'm hoping they will come.

Lastly, Graduation. I'm so excited that this is my last year and I will be graduating plus not only I get a diploma, my best friend, Emily, is planning on coming here hundreds of miles away, so I'm pretty excited!!

    Beyond that is.......college.

  • "Hello" from the Philippines!!

So most of you guys have heard that I'm at the Philippines right now.  Pretty excited, yet bummed out that I'm missing a lot of things at school, but pissed that I have to make it all up!  It's pretty awesome down here.  I met much of my cousins and some people that I completely forgotten 6 years ago.

I would have to say so far, it's pretty much like a roller coaster to me.  It's nice out here, but it's actually summer here too, so it's pretty hot out here.  As for my Tagalog, it's been going pretty smoothly, but some not so much (should have continued on my Tagalog before I came here).

I'm kind of neutral with the lifestyle so far.  Nothing really complaining about that much, except I have to get used to bugs around my food haha.

The worst part about my trip is that I didn't bring my laptop with me, so it's pretty hard for me to finish all my assignment on time plus there is no internet out here, so I have to use my half-brother's computer shop to do all my assignment and go on Facebook to see what's happening back in America.

I hope that this trip starts to get pretty good soon because for some reason, everyday once I wake up, I'm always fatigued from boredness.

  • Philippines!

This is my last week in the US before I go to the Philippines for a month! I'm pretty excited, but I'm missing many assignments plus I have two concerts that I won't be able to attend.

I'm pretty ready for the trip. I bought new clothes, watch, and sunglasses. Unfortunately, I can't bring stuff that is considered "valuable", so I won't bring my laptop with me, but I can however bring the mini laptop.

Missing school isn't really a big problem for me. I only have 5 classes I might need to make up for it, but I'm really worried about my Econ class.

My senior year is getting faster by the second. It's already March and I have two more months for Seniors to finish school. For me, I would only have typically a month left of school because of the Philippines trip. I just want my graduation to start and I'm already done for good at high school.

    Finals Week!

My finals start Tuesday after Martin Luther holiday. I really don't see why we need to actually do the finals this week when you could have just done it before Winter Break. Something about choir, but I guess it was those caroling we did.

I just finished the Algebra 2 final before break so that's one less I need to worry about.

For Physical, I'm not going to pass that I know for sure. If it's going to be one of those miles, then you can know for a fact I will fail it before 7 minutes. If it was like sophomore year Weight Training, yeah sure I can pass bench pressing 170 pounds, but this is Clovis High.

I'm kind of ready for the US final even ironically I haven't studied at all. I just learn everything I got from Junior year and right now and I'll be just fine. I have A already so it doesn't really concern me if I get a B.

Chamber and Concert will be so EASY! Since I already know about the music theory and I play piano, these will help me much. I'm not sure if I need to take both of them since they are the same finals.

As for Government, I'm still not sure if it will be easy. I always get at least a C or D on my tests, but I still have a B in that class. Either way, I still need to study for that final someday.

English I NEED to study for that. Just raised up my grade from a D to a C so I need to study Macbeth and the Renaissance Drama notes. Not to mention I need to watch Much Ado About Nothing for the essay portion.

The schedule also looks messed up. We still have school on regular day and it confuses me knowing that I will miss one period each day, but as I said, it's Clovis High.

Next semester, I'm changing my 2nd period US to TA in Bella Cantante Choir and my 6th period Government to Economics.

  • The 2 Week Plan

I'm officially done with school and caroling. Just like Thanksgiving Break, I can do whatever I want during Winter Break. So here is how my plan works.

This week, I'm planning on taking my drivers training since I need that to get my license. Simple, but I have a feeling it won't be what I imagined.

Once that is over, it's time for Christmas!! Normally, I don't celebrate Christmas (religion thing), but I still get into the gist of it sometimes. Hopefully Christmas becomes more awesome than last year where all we did was nothing because I was alone at home!

I also need to finish my enrichment articles for Government Class. People if I don't do it than my A can go all to a D. It's very easy though. I'm planning on doing that during the 2nd week if not right now.

New Years will be exciting hopefully. My family is planning on getting those noise makers and fireworks and celebrate outside. I just hope we are not the only ones doing this in our neighborhood.

By the way, I'm also writing a new song. It's about the end of 2009 and entering 2010. So check it out guys when I get it done. I was hoping I would finish it before 2009, but I doubt that will happen since it's not that easy writing a song.

There are other plans in between, but I'm not sure if I'm actually going to do it, I mean there is one part where I will probably be back in Tracy for visiting again, but if I'm too busy, I'm not going.

Have a wonderful Christmas and New Years!! Also Winter Break!

  • Fun, but why?

This Thanksgiving break has been awesome, but for some of us, it's our last day. That really sucks. I wanted this break to be at least another week. At least only 3 weeks left until we have our Winter break. I'm so excited for that especially my favorite holiday, Christmas and New Years!!

Saturday I went to Tracy to visit, but unfortunately, no one came, but I guess that's all right. Sunday was just non important stuff, but Monday was the day it really started.

I just sat on my ass the whole day watching movies on HBO like I had better else to do, but I did got a "copy" of Sims 3, so I just been playing and watching TV at the same time so it was fun I guess. This was the same all the way until Thursday.

Thursday, I found an old microphone and amplifier in the garage, so I fixed it and now I can record my demos and make an album, but I still need to buy some MIDI cable for the piano.

BLACK FRIDAY was HUGE!! Many people started buying, fighting. Before it started, everyone looked like homeless people outside sleeping and waiting haha. That was hella funny. I bought Fallout 3 for the PS3, but since it was M I had to have ID, but I didn't have it with me so I had to wait for a while until my dad came. Still, I got it plus a brand new robe lol.

Saturday was just me playing the game and watching TV while my parents were at Gilroy shopping. And Sunday was well...the same.

It was really fun especially where I don't have to go to school for a week, but alas, we have to go tomorrow for most of us. I also have to finish some school related stuff before I'm off to bed. Haha I just realized this is my last Thanksgiving break at high school.

    A Rough Morning

This day is going by pretty slow and also fast. I woke up at 9 in the evening and I didn't sleep until then so I am so exhausted. At least it's Thanksgiving Break so it doesn't really matter so far. Even though it's cold outside, it's really hot inside because of the atmosphere maybe.

My eyes are really heavy right now I can't even concentrate (writing down anything that I can think of haha). I want to go to sleep, but if I do, it will be already evening again and I don't want to start that all over again.

I have already watched 5 movies consecutively with going on the computer and it's been hurting my eyes all day. Got bored like during midnight, so I just plugged in my HDMI cable into my laptop and the living room TV. It looks really good not to mention the TV is like very high def. However, the resolution still lacks because everything keeps moving which irritates me.

Can't go to sleep, but I still don't know what to for at least the day. I'm testing out the Guild Wars on this computer so the downloading is going pretty slow.

  • 3 Months Paid Off!!

These 3 months have been too long, but I finally got in Chamber Choir. This is one of the best things that has happened in my entire life besides Graduating.

The week before last week, I talked to my director if I can audition for Chamber. Since I was a senior, I got an audition at Thursday last week. I was really nervous for the audition, but I did pretty well. He told me I would have the results on Friday, but he forgot about it. This week, I had feeling like "I won't be able to make it". I have been so anxious to be on that choir group that it made me heart beat twice as fast.

During the Chamber's party Thursday, he talked to the tenors privately about me joining. I didn't hear what he told me that much (short term haha), but I think one of the tenors would want to be a baritone instead so there was a good chance.

Today, my director told me this was my last day of TA for Chamber. My last job was to copy music notes into the copy machine, which I finally know how to make 2 double sided copies in the Xerox machine. After 30 minutes of copying, I came out of the room and back to the choir room.

I heard a lot of clapping at the PE hall, so I just ignored that and continued my way through. Once I was at the door to choir, I heard the noise louder and it was coming closer. Everybody started running after me and congratulating me on becoming an official Chamber singer. It really surprised me and it was the best thing that ever happened to me especially my first in Clovis High. I got my music and started singing for the first time with them which felt really good. I'm now a tenor 1 in Chamber and tenor 2 in Concert.

My TA period was over, but if they still needed me, I would still be their TA once in a while.

  • Nerdy or Stylish?

It was yesterday, but I finally got my new glasses! It came about Thursday, but I had to wait for my brothers to arrive since his came yesterday.

My glasses are Ray Ban's Titanium that I bought at Sears Optical. My sister also has one too, but her's look so much better, but I hate having to copy the same glasses, so I took the second option which were these. It cost about $160, but with the coverage, my mom only needed to pay $40. I wanted to get transitions, but it was between style or sight since it would increase the price higher. My little sister got transitions, but I don't really need to worry anymore because I already have sunglasses which are also Ray Ban.

Other 001 The glasses look good on me, but every time I need to adjust it, I hear some noises which feels uncomfortable. Since these are new, the lenses look like a mirror to me. All I can see is myself.

My vision changed from 2 prisms (whatever that means), so when I first got them on, I was like "WOW! It feels like I'm wearing someone else's glasses." The vision looks so good that it makes me all dizzy during the first part that I felt really sick, but they said I would get use to it. I still feel a little dizzy right now too.
